Do you have details on that? I've heard the same but so far have only fought the frigates, and didn't notice anything different.

POS access in Great Wildlands

Preface: Yes, I am a member of the dirty, dirty Suddenly Ninjas. Before you go off calling this whole thing some kind of trap or scam, I can assure you, I'm running way better scams than this on way dumber corps. I will always have a soft spot for TTI and know I can trust you guys. Plus, there's kin...

Non-Aggression Agreement

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Oleksandr regarding the status of the relationship between The Hand of Maak and Taggart Transdimensional. I told him what I will now say here; that we are grateful for our time with TTI and bear you no hostility. We set you to blue and have ignored your membe...

In Search of Freedom

For Immediate Release: As a Gallenteean, freedom and the right to choose have been ideas which I've heard about since childhood, but never quite understood. Living a comfortable life safely within the borders of the Federation, I never had to wonder what life would be like without the rights and pri...

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

This is a true contradiction that exists in our universe. I don’t know about GOD, but the electron contradiction is well studied and supported by evidence. So ruling out based on contradiction alone doesn’t seem like a complete option to me. Bunch of bull. A is A. If A isn't A, nothing works at all...

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

It's not artificial to point out that an argument or idea is absurd. How can a discussion continue from such an impasse? Some things are impossible- and stay that way forever. What kind of evidence could there be of a rock that's older than itself, or a person that can smell time? I can claim there'...

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

I'll willingly admit you can't disprove god - it's quite literally impossible...There is no evidence for their existence, aside from perhaps some old fairy tales... There are two ways to know something: empirically and rationally. Empirical knowledge requires an evaluation of evidence, and no "...

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

MidasMulligan, the weakness in your argument is that God can be beyond the Universe. It's actually one of the premises. The idea of God is something that is beyond the universe. Although I can type those words and you can read them, it's absurd, in the literal sense of the word, like saying somethi...

Anders Chydenius wrote:Exactly. You're not going to convince a theist using logic, and anyone who will listen to an argument grounded in logic already agrees with you.
Suddenly we are in agreement! Or, it seems, we were the whole time. Neato.

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

Yes, and that's not really an important point. Even the theists would say that the concept of God is one which a mortal mind can't fully grasp. So why attempt to discuss an idea which is patently absurd and therefore immune to discussion? I know of no concept outside of theology where such a futile...

Re: Proof That God Cannot Exist

It's weak. By definition, God is capable of breaking these laws. You've demonstrated that no entity existing within the laws of the universe is capable of acting with God-like powers, but no more. My point, though, is that the "existence" or any other word or idea you might care to use of...

Proof That God Cannot Exist

Today I decided that I wanted to write, in the shortest, simplest way possible, why there is no God and cannot be any God. Here's what I wrote. The sentences in parentheses are clarifications, but not actually needed for the argument. Why God cannot exist Premise 1, The law of identity: The universe...

I'm qualified for ownership of a vegetable pushcart

Hello, people! I'm posting this as I submit my application. I've been running "Mulligan Bank" for a while now, but frankly I don't have the ISK to make it a venture profitable enough to continue, so I'm trying to join up with some other more experienced folks. Ayn Rand inspired me to start...
