Re: Free will versus Determinism
You are confusing determinism and causality. Causality is that the same causes produce the same effects. It means that the universe behaves in a way that is accessible to reason. Determinism, however, is the theory that everything has a cause. This is circular and obviously false, unless of course y...

Re: you all the the fundamental discontinuity right?...
1. Eve is fun. The human mind needs fun. Denying it is denying human nature. There are not many more objectivist ways to have fun.
2. Isk can be converted into real money. So yes, you can probably earn real money in Eve, and thus real value.

I do think a well-chosen $45 card can run Eve.

Re: The Green Energy Fantasy: Green energy policies would hobble
Rip, in my experience Libertarians run the gamut from anarchism to fiscal conservatism. Unfortunately the majority of the party is towards the anarchist side, or at least believes that we should privatize all government including police, courts, and military. I think that is a very bad idea and wou...

I don't see it that way Boss. I don't think I've been negative in the slightest. I believe your reaction to the conversation is extreme. Musashi, I really don't understand the diatribe of negativity you have been pouring out on the forums lately. I really don't think you're as blind to reason as yo...

Re: The Green Energy Fantasy: Green energy policies would hobble
give themselves nice altruistic reasons to do it - but we all know what is behing altruism. It's an objectivist forum here, isn't it? Or at least I hope so. Your foul ideas will likely to damage fragile human minds! We must silence you - for The Greater Good! *grabs pitchfork* You know what? In the...

Re: The Green Energy Fantasy: Green energy policies would hobble
There have always been people to claim that their own pet catastrophe theory justifies the suspension of individual rights, and specifically the free market. They look scientific, they speak the scientific language, they may even be scientists, but what they are doing is not science and a wee bit of...

To those who advised me to use evemon : thank you. gtkevemon works very well. It may or may not have less options than evemon, but it allows skill planning. Awesome. Now just get EFT 2.10.w/e and you'll be set. Is EFT that indispensable? Currently I found no source for it, which means I would have ...

Re: To Hell With All Of You
I have tried to find what exactly happend with Ragnar but there are many, many different versions. As somebody who never really got involved in Eve (account suspended for several years) untll now, I would be very courious to learn what is the official stance of TTI on this issue.

I suppose nobody remembers me since I never really had time to play Eve after I was accepted, but I just reapplied.
