For info, Noise comes under enviromental laws. As an engineer I know that noise is harmful, hence the requirement for ear protection at work. I think its fair to say that you should not have a requirement to protect your ears because of actions your neighbours are undertaking. http://www.environment...

The UK system is somewhat different - there is no "insurance" company to pay. The NHS is funded thru a national tax called "National Insurance" :wink: which is in effect another income tax on top of "income tax". Hence the "free at the point of service" statem...
