hi from an ex-meber and maybe soon rejoined

TTI is known for its intellectuals. This is a place for thinkers to gather and exchange quotes, thoughts, or other topics that might not appeal to the average gamer.

Post by Mojack »

well yes, hi....

my short EVE background:
I applied in summer 2003 right on release to TTI.
I started to play EVE 1 week of beta, right before the release.
I am not sure how many of the older members will remember me.

I was about to join up with an sister Corp of TTI-...I Forgot the name.
but the director left....he loves bikes, like I do :)

In September 2003 I stopped playing EVE, because my RL time got
real short and also I Got a litte bored and wanted to try out an other
game....you cant play it all at once, hehe.
September was the month of the Venal crisis and when Ragnar announced
that he will resign.

Now I figured GunnyP is the new CEO, and I wonder how TTI is doing
after the Venal incident.
I am sure, that was the hardest thing in TTI history.
After I canceled my account I was still on the forums observing whats
going on. In was kinda loaded with politics and dimplomacy stuff
Altough I love this aspect of the game, since this concept is really new,
I prefer play a game, instead of discuss it out on the forums.
I understand how important a good image on the forums and in the community is, but still its a game, and sometimes I felt some people
prefer to play it on the forums more then elsewhere.
Just my thoughts, not a critic. Ragnar led TTI how he felt is right.
Now I am very curious how TTI is doing under the lead of GunnyP,
and how TTI's reputation is nowadays in the EVE universe.

I already met Anla Shok ingame and talk to him. A pitty he got kicked,
he said to me he was innocent....but thats not my business, its just sad,
since he lives in my old home town.

On a side note,
I would like to bring a RL friend who started to play EVE, into TTI.
Actually, my RL freind is the reason I re-activated my account.
Also, I was curious how the game developed over hte half year.

regards,
Mojack

Welcome back. Check your eve-mail, I replied to you there.

Regarding Anla Shok... I'd read this thread in full if I were you.

Heya Mojo, I do barely remember you but do. Of course you're welcome to re-apply with your friend, we'd love to see if you still have what it takes to get in. :P If you dare, just send an email to taggartnow@hotmail.com to start the Wheel of Doom, err recruiting process rolling.

Kind Regards,

yes,
it was Q-Labs and I meant Quin.

I will read the Anla story during week at work, because its long,
and at work I can not play games - but still can read forums and got a lot of (free) coffee to read thrue it.

Also during work week I will write the application - ummm I still got my
first stored on my work PC - how about I send that one and just add
few lines ?
So and yes, will also direct my friend to this forum during work week,
since he is my collegue at work. Phew, guess I got lot of work now during
the next work week, hehe.

Thanks. I also need to add that Golda is in the process of stepping down as HR director and Pendragon is stepping in. I'm sure that is adding to your delays... not intentional I assure you. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
