TTI is known for its intellectuals. This is a place for thinkers to gather and exchange quotes, thoughts, or other topics that might not appeal to the average gamer.

Another new applicant

Post by shinji_murimoto »

Hello Everyone,

I am applying to this corp and thought I'd drop in and say hello. I am a brand-spanking newbie to Eve, and so far it has blown me away.

About myself: I am a Master Electrician for an international performance art group, and occassionally I also do R&D for new props and technology for the show. I live in New England and am 33 years old.

Why Taggart?: Some of the other corps I have looked at seem a little. . .immature or purely interested in blowing other people away. Taggart seems like a well-developed, mature corporation, with a progressive outlook. I am impressed by the Ayn Rand philisophy you employ.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks,

Shinji

Hello all, I am another new applicant. I can't think of anything particularly revelatory to say right now, but I echo Shinj_Murimoto's comments, as I too was particularly impressed by the maturity and thoughtfulness exhibited by TTi's creed and operations. I look forward to joining you all as soon as possible!

Why thank you, Golda! I wasn't really sure if it sounded 'Caldari' enough, but I suppose even in the EVE universe people have to know how cool anything with "Omega" in it sounds. Like, "The Omega Factor." What is it? I don't know, but I bet it's awesome! Or, "Captain, the enemy ship is recognized as an Omega-level threat!" Anything can sound science-fictiony with a little Greek!

Because 'omega' is the end in greek, the last letter, or the 'extreme', so an 'omega' level threat would be the highest possible threat, therefore sounds cool.

Not to mention the Bible quotation that has been referenced at least a few times before in half-baked science-fiction plots: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, first and last." Possibly the coolest think God has said.
Er... no offense intended.

Hello everyone,
Im thinking of applying for this corporation, I've heard alot of good things about TTI mainly from my dad Deemer and I was wondering if u could tell me a little more about what your corporation involves.
I have met a few of the corporation members already when i was hauling xavier zyrae, cutani and max and what I have seen so far u guys seem a nice bunch.
Hopefully I get to see u in the game
