Hello There

TTI is known for its intellectuals. This is a place for thinkers to gather and exchange quotes, thoughts, or other topics that might not appeal to the average gamer.

Hello There

Post by Emizzon »

'Tis I, Emizzon. Yes I'm back in game, probably for the past two or three weeks. While real life has me in a strangle hold, I have been playing in my spare time, doing missions and what not. I do have an interesting in rejoining TTI, while I also want to hold off on joining as I do wish to complete this semester and not get killed in an Empire war gank, Jita's only a few jumps away from me and all, you know *shuffles feet*

Anyways, just stopping by once again to say hi.

Hi.

Hello, Emizzon. :)

It's great to see one of the old timers come back to EVE and, possibly, TTI.

I sure could use the knowledge and experience of one of the old-timers. :)

Because of the volitional work a mind must have performed to reach for the first time so exalted a level of truth—and because of all the glorious effects such knowledge will have on man’s life, all the possibilities of action it opens up for the future." -- Leonard Peikoff

No. I gave up another addiction to be here (Final Fantasy XI). With Eve, I don't have to spend as much time ingame to make progress. :)

OH! and I gave up sleep too, figured it was taking too much time out of my schedule!

Sleep, I like sleep except I wished I didn't have to sleep.

eh tell me about it. Kicked my brother out, super bussy with RL but with some free time to sit in a station for a bit, but without the funds to reactivate my account(s).... I miss being young.

Heh, tell me about it.

I gots one week of classes (finalls really) and then I'm done for the summer, but of course, I need to work on projects over the summer (self assigned) because I need to get better at design. But I'll have time to play though, won't be working on 5 different things for school at once.

I quit my other addiction (FFXI) so I can afford funding this game now.

So you finally laid down the law with your Bro’. Well you definitely gave him the benefit of your support. You did the right thing both in helping him, and ultimately in stopping your support. His becoming too reliant on the charity of others is just withering his desire for self-governance and survival.

Maybe you are turning a corner to DM? Why don’t you leave your Red Book at home and come to a John Galt objectivist support group meeting with me? We might turn you from your Commie ways yet.
