Here's my introduction. I like the format. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. And I don't like income tax.

Extended Info:
1) What are your unique characteristics that set you apart from most people? (your views, achievements, etc):
The most "unique" (at least in so far as it sets me apart from many) characteristic of mine is that I am highly rational. I am training to be a physicist, and this has taught me, in much the same way that Atlas Shrugged has taught others, that a rational approach to understanding a problem, any problem, ensures excellent results. Other than that, I'm reliable and punctual, always in favor of the use of proper English (at least the American variety I know), and am ready to work hard and prove to myself (and anyone else who would like to see) just how successful I can become. The one downside I must admit is that, in being a student, my education must always take top priority. Thus, there will be times when I am unable to access EVE for a day or two due to homework needs.
2) Why are you playing EVE?
Because I spend most of my days at lectures or working on a variety of math and physics problems, I started playing EVE because I wanted to blow stuff up. Eventually, however, I realized that EVE could be approached like any other problem that was put before me. I took time (mostly during my extended leave from the game) to consider what I wanted to do, specifically, in EVE with combat skills (which came down to PVE and PVP, with the PVP for necessary defense of self and friends). Once that was determined, I looked at what I knew of the game and what I could find out, and then looked at how I could progress from my base skills to further skills that would all aid in achieving my goal. Currently, I pilot an interceptor, but am also working on the skills for assault frigs.
Thus it is that, although I started EVE for pew pew, it has become yet another chance to test out my analytical abilities against new and exciting problems.
3) Why are you applying to Taggart?
In part, I am applying because there are no free handouts. I have found ways to build myself a nice nestegg, and I do not need to be given anything in order to succeed.
Another reason is for the stock and banking options. While I would not want to harm the corp or cause problems, if I am giving the corp my money, I want to know that I can work it to my advantage as well as the corporations (much like real world corporate stocks). As for the banking system, I have yet to find a corporation which will offer fair interest (or any) for both using my funds (in this case, as the savings I have placed in TTIs trust) and offering me funds. If I take a loan, I know that I am expected to treat as an opportunity, not a handout. It is a chance for both myself and the corporation to make more money.
In the end, what really sold me on the corporation, though, was the answer to the question of "How do I make a billion isk." It seems that the entire corporate philosphy is summed up as "Isk is a measure of one's own internal success in one's struggle against the evils of life." So far, I've made 47mil, of which I am proud. But I must continue on, to see how much I can make, to see how successful I can be. Even if I am not accepted, it is enough to know that there are others out there who, from whatever thinker, have come to understand the importance of an individual's actions as their only means to success and happiness.
Truly, copy paste is one of the greatest of all functions on the computer. Now when I misquote, it's out of spite. Too bad I quote myself the most.

"Objectivism is not only true, it is great! Why? Because of the volitional work a mind must have performed to reach for the first time so exalted a level of truth—and because of all the glorious effects such knowledge will have on man’s life, all the possibilities of action it opens up for the future." -- Leonard Peikoff
