Hi, I am new to the game but have experience in almost all MMO's on the market. I find eve to be a refreshing change of pace as I like to concentrate on "Crafting" and most other games don't have a reliable economy. I'm 25 years old and live in Australia but am online during the US peek period due to the nature of my work (24 hr locksmith) I'm interested in joining a well established corporation like Taggart Transdimansional to make the most of my eve experience.

Welcome to the forums.
We have several very successful manufacturers here in TTI (I'm not one of them). But I do see some common traits in those successful players.
+ They spend a substantial part of their game time arbitraging: Buying in areas of high supply; Transporting goods; Selling in areas of low supply (often with very elegant marketing strategies). Anybody can begin this aspect of the game on day one.
+ They keep all their oars in the water. They max out every buy and every sell slot that all three toons on an account can support (actually many of the most successful players in game leverage multiple accounts)
+ They build their commodities into to finished products.
- I suggest not placing your focus on building until you get a solid feel for that arbitrage bit. Manufactured items built from purchased BPOs can often have negative margin on the markets (due to game mechanics). Margins are usually best on those items that are not built solely with minerals, or require BPCs (like T2 items), but these items are not easily built by beginners.
Well best of luck in game.
