Hello, I'm Ka Vin

Post by Ka Vin »

To post accurately I'm variously Kevin, Ka Vin, Pikk Ax, Evultura and several no skill scout alts spanning 1 real person and 3 accounts, none of whom to my knowledge are in any conflicting corporations with Ideals against those of Taggart.
I'm from Vancouver, West coast Canada GMT-8, PST.
I am Male, 37 years old, cw/gf, employed as an Electrician.
I have read Atlas Shrugged and was particularly taken with how much I agreed with the author on many things.

Ka Vin- 27.7M sp majority combat with plenty of mixed up varienty as well.
Pikk Ax 16.2M sp Vast majority of which is industrial, small amount of logistics and smaller amount combat
Evultura 6M sp completely focussed on skills to fly a Rorqual... not quite there yet
To say that I enjoy all aspects of the game is to understate that I can't stay focussed on one particular part for any length of time before I get bored so I try a little of everything.
My Eve time is greatly reduced in the summer because of the Evil beach a few blocks from my house and the camping in the mountains close by on the weekends but after the weather turns bad I often spend several hours a day in-game.

I would like to join Taggart very much (based on the website and stated policies) but I would also like to set up my own POS (first time) soon so I hope my little corporation (the Unfortunates) can join Virtue of Selfishness.

An electrician huh? Maybe you can help me with a problem I've been having. I read an electrical book, and used it to run 3 phase power to my television. For some reason though, it didn't work. Also I got bits of flaming copper fragments in my face. Maybe I didn't use big enough wires?

TV is garbage thow it out.
But if you insist on using a TV in rder to run one you need a deisel generator (to maintain better fuel efficiency than a gas generator) an Inverter either single phase or 3 phase depending on your generators output a bank of batterries a sine wave generator and a few filters, a back-up UPS system , I recommend banking these in series for extra voltage out-put 2-3-way switches a 4-way switch and a nice thick teck cable #6awg ought to do the trick, and you'll need a miscellany of straps and connectors, which ought to cost only $30 or so (just for the straps and connectors)
then you're set, no probs good to go. let me know when you have that lot and i'll scribble you out a rough diagram on a bit of cardboard and send it over for ya
