I am a 25 year old computer programmer, by education, passion and (hopefully someday soon) by trade. I currently work for a computer memory company located outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, doing tech support and the odd programming job they need here and there. I just recently obtained my computer science degree, for whatever that is really worth beyond filling the check-box on most application forms.
I am also married with two kids and a third about 50% done, due in very early December from what my wife tells me. We currently have one boy and one girl so I am hoping for a boy, as our dog is female and we need to even things out!
I started in EVE about a year after it's launch and was hooked non-stop for over 2 years. In there I did production in empire, low sec mining, mission running and just about everything in between, with the exception of pirating. Eventually I got into a corp that was moving to 0.0 space so I went with them. After experiencing life in 0.0 I was more hooked than ever, the ISK was better, the people were more engaged and there was a sense of danger that made it all more exciting. I also got to manage several POS out there, which was probably my favorite aspect of the game at the time. Eventually we (as in the alliance we were in and the Alliance whose space we were "renting") were booted from 0.0 and I just couldn't go back to empire life, it wasn't anywhere near as enjoyable. This, plus RL commitments, lead me to play less and less until finally I was basically logging on to change skills. Eventually I canceled my subscription and "took a break" from EVE.
Between then and now I have played occasionally, usually when CCP offers the 5-day free and discounted first month deals, but couldn't find anything I enjoyed enough to come back full time. PI is what brought me back this time and I have to say that I enjoy it more than I ever enjoyed running POSs, so I'm here to stay this time.
All of my friends from my previous time in EVE have either left the game or don't remember me very well so I am looking to meet up with new people who share my ideals and drive to achieve and Taggart seems like the best place to do that.

Re: Hello
That is unacceptable! How could you?! I guess I'll just schedule an extra therapy session to deal with my abandonment issues now...Histracko wrote:Thanks redhot.
