Hello, my name is Spar Jamlamin in EVE and I was captivated by your corp's mission statement as I've always held Ayn Rand, and my favorite work of hers Atlas Shrugged, as one of history's most accurate literary diagnoses of humanities struggles. I've always been a strong libertarian/classical liberal, capitalist and small business entrepreneur while still knowing and loving the arts and entertainment of my "liberal" friends. I'm a conservative at heart but I understand progresses place and think the true balance of the two is what has allowed individuals to achieve so much. So I'm starting the application process with your corporation because I don't think I'll ever find another one that fits me any better.
I'm a newb with around 4.5mil SP and have only been in one small corp thus far. I rather enjoyed being in the corp but when it disbanded I sort of picked up work IRL and abandoned EVE until Incursion and my brand new computer was purchased. I tend to enjoy Industry and Mining, but I'm also trying to strike a balance with short and sweet Gunning skills so wormhole exploration and utilization seems like a fitting mix. I really hope to also grow with the corp and learn from more experienced players, as well as making friends with a band of buddies in the game.
IRL I'm a web developer for a small internet start-up, write Ruby/Rails code all day and design system infrastructure. I love my job so it tends to take place over all other things in my life, however I intend to give EVE as much free time as I can.
