Hello,
I'm intruducing my 2 accounts under the name Gorgon Spinoza and Zola Spinoza for my corp application.
My RL name is Karel, I'm 43, owner of 3 companies (self-employed) and I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. However I follow US timezone as I usually work during the night.
I have been playing EVE since summer 2010. At first only with Gorgon but started a 2nd account a month later. Gorgon is more proficient in industry and science (invention and production of Minmatar Tech2 turrets and Cruisers, and flies Covert Ops).
Zola is more proficient in Military affairs (most Tech2 Mods, all Minmatar T2 Frigs, Minmatar T2 & T3 Cruisers, Minmatar Transports and Fenrirs). Both characters fly Battleships proficiently and I like to multi-client LVL 4 missions.
I have always been in one corporation; Solaris Project. Most interesting episodes were holding nullsec sov for a while, our participation in the Great Wildlands Coalition who tried to uphold NRDS in the GW, POS bash/defence fleets, and the weekly WH exploration fleets. That was until the GW coalition became devided between NRDS and NBSI sides and fell apart.
Recently Solaris Project went through a lot of personnel & CEO changes and became more of a carebear corp (no pun intended). But I am missing the challenges that used to be. I have a few POS'es to deploy, but Solaris Project won't be able to defend them if shit happens. Our current CEO advised me that it would be better for me to seek a corporation that better matches my ingame goals.
I am currently based in Derelik high- & low-sec where I run my labs and factories, a few jumps from Rens, with easy access to the Great Wildlands and the Curse regions.
I assessed a couple of corporations that caught my interest. TTI looked the most interesting to me so I decided to apply here first. I defenitely like your corp culture. I must admit that I don't know much about 'Objectivism'. My own beliefs are founded on the ideas of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky, wich has been a life-long study for me. At a glance the ideas of Gurdjieff and Rand look complimentary without being in conflict with eachother.
Regards,
Karel.
