An old (in rl and in Eve time) member saying HI

Thought I'd drop a note in the forums just to let those who might remember me that I'm back in Eve after a two year hiatus (a combination of things has kept me away). My alt, Aldero Zapatine, is still a member, and is active as a Jita watcher. Me, I'm still in Alaph's (if you remember him, Razz ) old corporation, Wintermute Ashpool Industries (tAMI) (actually, I'm the CEO these days). I figured no sense in visiting the forums if I don't at least say hi to the new members (almost everyone in TTI) and the few old folks still hanging in there. Some history... there was a time when TTI was a member of an alliance called <the five>. This was a 0.0 pvp alliance, and I think we had 3, maybe 4 alliances declare war on us, as well as a merc corp. Needless to say, it put a crimp on our empire operations, but the CEO at the time, plus the directors, were all committed to PVP, so the wars never ended. Being a young and full of vinegar pilot, I joined the few TTI members actively fighting these wars, and hung out in fleet forming systems so I could do my part (I am retired army, after all). I was responsible for most of the kill mails we were receiving (I don't think I ever survived an engagement), and of course was podded frequently. Somehow, this left a sour taste in my mouth, and after a couple of months of constant battle, I realized I could not sustain myself in this manner. I sadly left TTI, and joined tAMI. I'm glad to see TTI is no longer engaged in constant PVP warfare, although I'm sure y'all can handle yourselves quite well when it comes to that. Wormholes sound challenging, particularly class 5 ones. Fighting in incursions sounds fun, too. Good luck to all, and safe flying!
