Ghouls and Ghosts

Greetings, my name is Ariolo. I'm an imaginative and curious individual who yearns to learn new skills, concepts, and ideas; and refine the ones I already possess. I believe TTI is the right corporation for me to realize some of my future ambitions in Wormhole, and Null-Sec Space. I graduated from Pator Technical School approximately a month and a half ago, and since then have been refining my skills in Exploration, Combat, and Ship Command. Although I detest violence in most forms, I recently breached someone's hull, along with their pod - in a mutual fight. This, I took as my Certificate of Achievement in basic operations of a Capsuleer vessel. I now fervently believe that I will find success in all my endeavors throughout New Eden.
Despite being a relative newcomer to the heavens, I have been there all my life. I was raised in a remote Vherokior settlement, and was the apprentice of a Shaman. Shortly before I applied to Pator Tech., my teacher passed on to the afterlife. Before passing he told me, "Never doubt yourself. Although at times you may forget where you've come from, it's a lot harder to forget where we're going - the heavens." Later that night, as I watched the funeral pyre burn and the older mystics conduct the rites, I could see with such clarity the auras of the sky. The ghostly still of the night evoked that which lie within me, I knew in that moment as I stared into the heavens, that I must go there - before my time is done.
Although what I seek above is cordial, none know better than the Minmatar the brutality and inherent indifference that awaits us. There are things out there, older than myth, and far less understood; Ghosts - what most call 'Sleepers'. Something all Minmatar are aware of though, are the tales of nightmarish ghouls, mercenaries and capsuleers - so unbound both mentally and emotionally; immortal for so long they become indifferent to suffering in all forms, and live only for macabre.
One of the first times I felt true fear, was when my clan chose me to rise up; to the stars.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that I'm done role-playing, I'd like to finish up with some less fictional information about my character. I'm an age-of-majority student planning to attend college in a year or two, and currently I work weekends as a Cook. I've played EVE for about a month and a half, and before I subscribed with this account I played a lot of trials. I know all of the basics in EVE; such as fitting a ship, over-loading modules, etc. and am learning everything I don't know as needed.. As stated in my writing, I want to venture in Wormhole-Space, possibly Null-Sec. I specialize in Hacking, and use Projectile Turrets and Shields for defense against assailants.
I believe TTI has the competency, drive, and organization required to get the most out of what lies in the heavens, and I am certain I can contribute in my own fashion. While my application is being reviewed, I intend to socialize with some of the current members of TTI and learn more about your operations and philosophy.
