As many of you may already be aware i am helping teach a games/experamental ecomomics class using eve as the instrument.
Most of the students in the class are absolut noobs and im trying to get them into the game, or basicly trying to find ingame incentives for those not interested in the game to strive for. With this in mind i want you to attack the class corp.

Basicly what im asking you to do is to create a pvp alt. Not train the alt at all after "birth", join a the anti-class corp which will war dec the class corp and then raid the the class corps mining op with shitty frigs and whatnot. I think that the thrill of winning in battle will spice up the class. Plus when we do specilization of labor those guarding the corps mining op will have nothing to do but kill empire rats. Yes i will pay for your time and trouble, also ammo will be provided by me. The raids i think will be during schedualed class hours so there is a relative time obligation. If you cant make it dont worry about it.

Rules of engagment
1, you dont win. You dont have to loose but i realy cant afford to loose interest because you showed up and turned my class into so much dust. If the class is getting pownded into dust me or the prof will show up in somthing to disguise the class basicly being mercy ruled by the assaulting corp pulling out. E.G 2 hurricaines to start hammering back to "turn the tide" so they dont catch on that you arent going all out.
2. No podding. Self-explanatory.
I will post further developments in this reguard as they....develop. Including ROE that im forgetting.

right one thing i forgot to mention. To keep fuckers like goonfleet or other such corps who exist soly to ruin peoples day in the dark, this dummy corp and the class corp will have to remain under wraps. the last thing i want is the class corp name leaking and getting 5 war decs by the goonies.

I will however have the professor write a letter of thanks to taggart and post in the forums, and i will chronical taggarts operations in the class with effects and post them in the forums as a shameless recrutment plug. After the class is over. Enough people i think know about the class from the prof and i probing the forums with alts for some people to have an inkling about it going on. So to recap. Keep dis shit under wraps.


Also the assault corp will be created tonight So ill need those interested to post the names of the alt they will be using so i can record you for payment post raids. I will post the assault corps name and location in this thread later on tonight.

It will be dull for a while. I want the class to be relativly familar witht he game before we sweep in like so many huns in our iron ships foaming at the mouth for blood. I will also post schedualed rading operations in advance and send out evemails to your mains in advance. For the most part it will take place from 18:00 -18:50 eve time as that is the class time.

Dont worry if you cant make it because ill be paying at a participation bassis, basicly you show up you get paid. I havent decided on pay scale yet though.

Also more ROE tonight, Kinda important that follow em. They will be adjusted according to how the raids go.

OK, call me crazy, but I've been giving this some thought...

What I thought would be cool is to use a Sigil (amarr industrial) fitted with a small smartbomb and a turret. This is probably less harmful than a rookie ship, but it looks 10x bigger and the smartbomb effect looks cool. Then I would have this character repeatedly pod one of my alts in empire space to lower my sec status enough to put a bounty on him, say, 1m isk. Basically, the net effect is that a huge ship will warp in and start setting off explosions and look scary. Once they take it out, they get a "huge" bounty for killing the "pirate." I could also put some reinforced bulkheads in the lows to make it a really hard to kill.

If this sounds like a good idea, let me know, and I'll start training energy pulse weapons I. If not, a rookie ship will work too, I suppose
