Hello there. I know we have a healthy number of producers in here. I need their advice.

I've started getting used to production. I located an item that sells well, checked the blueprint, calculated that I could build for a profit even buying the raw materials and manufacturing unresearched. Everything fine...except that I wanted to research it, specially material efficiency.

Problem is the INSANE queues I am finding. I checked every single line availiable in this region, and the best one (I booked it) was 17 days

Do we have manufacturing plants of our own? Maybe I could sneak in a shuttle if it was less than 15 or 20 jumps... I am in the Verge Vendor, by the way.

If you know of a place close to here with reduced queues, I'm all ears.

Basically:

Free ME slots don't exist in hisec. You *might* be able to find some in a few untraveled lowsec areas but it's very dangerous. If you want to get ME done, you have to use a player-owned POS with some labs on it. In hisec, this usually means renting some time from a research alliance. It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the basics.

Well, to hell with them. I booked a line and I will wait. It's nothing but a little, cheap, T1 module blueprint that will give me benefits even if I manufacture unresearched.

....wha? Mafia? The research alliances provide a needed service, and the rates are competitive when you take into account how much a tower + monthly fuel costs...

I have skills for 23 labs in Curse and there's normally at least 6 open within a few jumps. I'm more than willing to research some BPOs for people if needed BUT the turnaround wouldn't be quick. I only carrier jump out to curse once every 3 weeks. Hence turnaround would be dependent on what you want researched (Modules can be done in a day, Cruisers take 2 months) and when you need it vs when I'm jumping out.

Oh, no, no need to bother yourself. I am not a real industrial character yet, just want to toy around with it a bit.

If you give me a hint about what Region > System combination has (usually) free slots in less than 10 days, I'll be happy to check it personally.
