Please allow me to introduce myself in the hope that you will find my attributes agreeable and acceptable as part of my application to join your corporation.

I am a 37 year old UK male. My hometown is Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
I have been playing Eve for just under 5 months. I play Eve for the interaction aspect that I could not get from playing X² and X³ space simulation games. I enjoy asisting new/other players. As part of this interaction and have a small free hosted website to help. http://markhelp.axspace.com/ (viewable ingame - linked as 'Help Box' in my bio).

My main character, Mark Knopfler, is a miner at heart and soon to be a freighter pilot too. I have an alternate charater, Markita Knopfler, created solely for price checking purposes.
My main has 6.6m skillpoints devoted mainly to mining skills. I do not consider myself a seasoned combat pilot yet.

Why TTI? I must admit I am interested in the fact that TTI has embraced a philosophy that is not "let's get big and conquer all". I also seek purpose, challenges and opportunites that I cannot gain in my starter corportion.

What do I have to offer TTI? I feel I fit the required profile of 'Well humoured, Mature and abitious to be a part of something better'. I have developed friendships in my starter corporation through helping others, giving advice and sharing experiences. I would appreciate the opportunity to build similar friendships within Taggart Transdimensional. I offer my services in friendship and in support.

I'm a little confused with your-town-has-three-names thing, but your from the UK, which overrides most naming faults.

Hope to see your application soon.

The hometowns naming convention. It's a historical thing
My hometown was (and still is to a degree) a castle town, although most of the fortifications have now crumbled into history, there remains a keep and much of the city walls. Records show that the site of my city has been settled since 121AD although historians argue that it is probable that there have been settlements here earlier than records show, with the site also being a major crossing point of our city's river, the Tyne. Following the Norman invasion in 1066 the town was heavily fortified (around 1080) as were many towns, each becoming named 'Newcastle'. My city is the New Castle that stands upon the river Tyne.

Only in Europe are 928 year-old buildings "new".
