Mecchio: Forum Introduction

To the members of Taggart Transdimensional and other affiliates:
I would like to take this time introduce myself to the Corporation and Alliance. My pilot name is Mecchio, I am a Caldari Deteis. I began playing EVE over one month ago, and I have fallen in love with the in game mechanics and its complexities. Throughout my time playing EVE, I have spent time trying to find the corporation that fit me. I found that many corporations were too involved in the daily workings of their members. It seemed to me that they’d rather focus on the flowing income to the corporation, than the well-being of their individual members. Their exploitation of the work and dedication of their members were sickening. It is the individual right of human beings to reap the benefits that they themselves sow. I do not believe it is fair nor ethical to merely give away resources that they themselves are able to attain. What good is it for people to merely receive without any work involved? Would it not be better to instill in them the ability to gain those resources themselves, to be self-sufficient in mind, property, and monetarily? Knowledge is a gift, it is up to the person to decide whether or not to use it.
On a personal note, I am 20 years old and currently a university student (undergraduate), majoring in Biology (formerly Biological Engineering) on the Pre-Med track. I look forward to your responses, and hopefully see you in game.
Respectfully,
Mecchio
