Hello and good tidings.

First off I would like to say hello. It was some time back that I learned of this corp and though I have not acted in a direct way, for a number of reasons that I will get to in a short bit, the finding of this corp and it's principles has affected me and my gaming experience. I have shared a very similar mindset as the core values embodied by the statements made on this forum. That we are all individuals and as much have our own shared goals and hopes from our involvement in the vast universe of EVE. But in order to make an environment in which we can pursue our own ends we must stand together to ensure that we are in a safe place to do that. Peace, sometimes requires us to defend against and dissuade those that would threaten our endeavors. Whether that be a direct attack or persons infringing on our freedoms. I tend to do my own thing and if one were to read my bio in game I think it speaks to the point who I am and what I believe so I won't take up valuable space here.
So why I have not acted on becoming a member of this community? First and foremost I try to never get involved in areas where I am more hindrance then benefit. I wanted to train up core skills needed to pursue some of the more valuable areas of development. I am now able to do level IV missions solo, pilot AF, BS, HAC, Exhumers all with competence and sopon will be in an Orca. I have learned the basic principles of the game but could use direction in learning some of the advanced things like research, scanning/exploration group/gang PvP. I don't want a hand out, I prefer to earn what's mine. I want to walk away from my dealings with a knowing that I am responsible for what happens to me and don't want room to blame the other for my failings. The second and final reason for taking this time is to meditate and think about whether this is a place for me or not and I believe I am in a place where we all can benefit from my association with this corp. I look to contribute when needed and pursue my own agenda when I can. So I am here to make an attempt to connect with like minded persons and see where things go.
Sincerely,
Yeshmiel
