A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Oleksandr regarding the status of the relationship between The Hand of Maak and Taggart Transdimensional. I told him what I will now say here; that we are grateful for our time with TTI and bear you no hostility. We set you to blue and have ignored your members whenever we saw them in local, highsec or otherwise. The standings have not been reciprocated, so I am posting here to find out if this was an oversight or if this agreement does not actually exist.

Also, with the upcoming changes to the sovereignty system, I'd like to add that if you end up in possession of some space, we are interested in pursuing a rental agreement with you to work in your space. We would, of course, follow whatever rules of engagement you set for your area if you desire.

From all of us at THOM, we send best wishes and hope that business is going well for TTI and company. We have been doing a great deal of PVP (not just suicide ganking) and would welcome the opportunity to use our new skills to defend old friends, as long as there's profit to be made and security status gains to be had.

While I am not in a position to reciprocate your gesture of peace, I'd like to believe that its is appropriate for me to express myself on this forum.

I believe EVE is filled with many different players with many different beliefs and diverse reasons for playing. I also hold that establishing peaceful relations, even with those who commit what we consider to be heinous acts, is a wiser and more profitable policy then making enemies. Our beliefs can only spread among those we hold relations with and making peace is essential to making increased profits and improving efficiency.

It is my assertion that we should hold anyone as blue that wishes to hold us the same, and that red status only apply to those who have committed aggressive acts toward us and, even after diplomatic relations are established to resolve matters, continue to express a desire to be aggressive.

Any opportunity to establish peaceful relations for mutual benefit should not be taken lightly. I do apologize if this is an inappropriate place to discuss these matters.
