Noodles Everhate - Introduction

Post by Noodles Everhate »

Hello, and nice to meet all of you.

About me-
I started playing Eve about a year ago when my roommate and I went on one of many World of Warcraft strikes (I'm a compulsive MMO-er) and never had the heart to cancel my subscription. Eve seems like it has incredible potential, but other than mission running I have no earthly idea what there is to do.

For the past year, I've kept training (for the most part), but have lapsed into a few weeks to a month here and there of forgetting to update my queues.

I feel that I never really gave Eve enough of my attention, and I'm ready to just dive in balls deep.

My job will be changing soon so my gaming schedule will be becoming 11:00 pm (Central Standard Time, United States) to 3-5ish am on weekdays, with weekends largely open.

More than anything I want to participate in group activities - I'm eager to go wingman to some entertaining and educational company.

About Noodles-
I've been trained up to manage some of the more popular fits for a Pilgrim, Curse, and Purifier, as well as some basic mission running fits for my Navy Issue Apocalpse, although with the exception of the mission running, I have no real experience in any of them, other than the occasional foray out to zerosec to see what's what. (I still don't know what's what. I never ran into anyone.) So while I can fit the stuff, I really don't know how to use it properly.

I've been in Moonlit Toxicity (an extremely inactive corporation that was supposed to be some kind of stealth merc-for-hire type thing), and Bukkakke Inc. (a joke corporation my roommate made just to see how corporations worked).

I know your Corporation has a Policy of Laissez-faire entrepreneurship, and is oriented toward not giving orders, but as a rookie who doesn't have the first idea what's profitable for a combat/ covert ops / recon pilot to be doing, I'd be more than willing to latch my star to someone more experienced who's willing to take me along and show me the ropes.

If I had to specify areas of interest - I would say anything where my ship specializations would be useful, as well as grouped missioning, and I've always wanted to get into exploration.

Noodles

Back in the day it used to be that you only had to worry about your roommate drinking your beer or eating all the peanut butter. And now there's Bukkakke to fret about. Having a roommate like this adds a twist to the sequel for Single White Female.

The best part was the Corporation's tagline - "Bukkakke inc, Always more than enough men for the job."
