Lars Takarin

Hello all. In game, I'm a Minmatar Vherokior named Lars Takarin. I entered Eve in 2006 and played for a while. Life caught up with me and I had to take a 4-year break. I recently returned to Eve, and I like what I see. I have been flying solo, and I now feel the need to be amongst like-minded folks. I want to get more out of my experience in Eve.
IRL, my name is Tony. I'm an 18-year, active duty Marine officer. When I have some time between my Master's program, 2 kids under 5, and work, I like to unwind with Eve. I've played other MMO games in the past: SWG from day one (gave up on that about 4 years ago). WOW for a while (got bored). And a couple of others...
I finally read Altas Shrugged this summer. I can honestly say that I've never read something that (sorry for the cliché) 'spoke to me' like this book did. Toward the end, it was like I was spending time with close, old friends. I now have a reference from which to contemplate my concepts of self-reliance, individualism, morality, etc.
So... that's me. I look forward to working with you.
