Introduction

Hello Taggart Transdimensional!

My name is Ragnar Belaqua, and I'm extremely interested in joining. I've been playing Eve for about a bit over a year (took a couple of months off during football season). My character is quite heavily Indy focused. I mine in a Hulk, I produce and I can research. I've also spent a lot of time station trading in the past, though I'm looking to get away from that for a good long while. I also have an alt, Francisco Belaqua, who is skilled up in combat and exploration almost exclusively (outside of flying an Orca when I mine). He can fly Proteus's fairly well, though he still needs to get up to T2 medium guns. Both have over 12mil skill points.

I mainly been an independent player, though I have joined two corporations prior to now (that is, two that weren't solo corps I set up). With Frisco's exploration skills getting up there, I'm very eager to try out wormhole life, as between the two characters, it seems like I have a good number of the skills necessary to prosper there. PVP is not something I've done much of, but would gladly participate in defense fleets when needed. Currently, I live in and around the Forge Region. Frisco's partaking in a bit of lowsec exploration down near Otosela at the moment, as he finishes off his exploration skill set, and Ragnar spends his time between Ikami and Jita producing and hauling to market.

IRL, as the names may indicate, I'm an Objectivist. I read Atlas Shrugged the first semester of my freshman year in college, and was hooked. I've been studying Objectivism for over a decade and finally came to the point where I would consider myself an Objectivist about 4 years ago, after the birth of my son. I run the blog SacredEgo.com (though it's lapsed into inactivity recently) and am an active member of the Atlanta Objectivist Society (ATLOS). Professionally, I'm a Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Developer specializing in the Microsoft BI suite.

To me, Taggart Transdimensional seems like a great fit for what I want to accomplish in Eve, and who I want to accomplish it with. I'm on 4-5 nights each week (in the EST timezone)

I'll be requesting an application, and hopefully be joining you guys in Wormhole life shortly.
