Introduction - Kaziem Tanznite

Hello, my name is Kody in real life and Kaziem Tanzinite or Kaz on EVE. I'm a computer programming student from Oklahoma City. I started playing EVE in October, and have yet to find a corp I feel comfortable, useful, respected and valued in. I just left a corp that misled me to believe that I would have people to associate with outside of nullsec, which sadly was untrue.
I was attracted to your site from your BattleClinic post and after reading probably 80% of the static pages decided before I even talked to anyone in the corp that I would apply. I spoke with and fleeted up with Liberty for some missions this morning after talking for an hour about the corp and from that experience I believe that if he is a valid representation of the corp that I will be happy here.
After reading your site I was almost surprised at (outside the purist laissez faire concepts) that the philosophy of the corporation is aligned to my real world political beliefs particularly Meritocracy and Self-interest. I'd never heard of Objectivism formally before reading up on it after I looked at the site and it struck me as very similar to my personal views on the world as a whole. In regards to EVE it's the most logical and practical approach to running a corporation, as it has the effect of mitigating administrative overhead, ensuring solid morale, and limiting internal conflict through mutual yet independent growth. The players after all make the corporation not the people who run it *ducks to avoid flying CEO clipboards*
I'm a serious theorycrafter and I love to crunch numbers. I spend most of the first hour I play checking market prices in my local high-sec regions Heimatar, Metropolis and Sinq Liason just to make sure that I'm maximizing my production profits. I've nursed ambitions to be a wormhole explorer since I began playing and have even scanned a couple down completely ignoring the fact I can't kill anything in them. I'm currently able to fly a fairly well fitted Hurricane, passable Retriever, any T1 Minmatar frigates and a max cargo Hoarder. I have good PI skills including level 4 command centers and IPC 3, and moderate scanning skill. I also have level 3+ in hacking, salvaging, and archaeology. I'm currently 3 days and change from being able to step into my Covert Ops frigate, after which I plan to raise my scanning skills a bit. My primary long-term goals include T2 Construction & Invention, T3 piloting, Sleeper Production and eventually capital construction and PoS ownership in a Wormhole or empire space for research and ship manufacturing. I have very little interest in PvP though I do understand the need for every pilot to be able to hold their own.
I'm personally a very talkative, inquisitive and I like to think intuitive person. I'm always up for a talk about pretty much anything, even those topics your mom said not to talk to people about like politics and religion. This is probably because of my notion in the fact that most beliefs are built on rhetoric and having learned what rhetoric was and how to use it in the 5th grade, I've become affluent at spotting and disassembling it with fact and logic. I'm not confrontational however this may sound, I let the topics arise naturally and I don't argue a point I explain my view and let you make a decision for yourself. This is a part of my base nature that can rub some people the wrong way, I have a feeling that won't be the case here, I'll let you be the judge of that.
