Well, where to begin. I'm gonna rant a bit. I hate Incarna, I hate not having a hangar view for my ships. That doesn't really affect me so much in a POS but it does on my alts. We've got no reason to be walking around the captains quarters in a station, leave that shit for people playing Star Trek Online. It's not like we can walk up to another player that just dusted us in a PvP and stick a shank in him. I might appreciate it then. I thought we were capsuleers. And lastly I hate what the performance tweaks have done to my computer, my frame rates are sucking now compared to what they were before and my video cards are running significantly hotter than they were before.
I don't use MS windows, I haven't used a microsoft operating system since 1998. I've ran linux or bsd since then and I have, through periods of frustration and self-education, been able to get everything to work as well as or better than a windows computer. I don't want to sound like a braggart but I know the hardware in my computer like the back of my hand, I know which application or function is operating in what memory register in what DIMM slot. I have debugged sound card drivers written in assembly on the old AWE line from soundblaster. I regularly contribute to re-compiling programs for the program repository for 2 different linux distrobutions. I'm not a code monkey, but I do know hardware. I can run crysis 2 or duke nukem in the highest graphics mode and not get the heat I'm getting now.
I'm just mad as hell right now, I can't figure this out because I am forced to play eve right now on my wifes laptop. I not sure what I'm going to do. It seems like everytime I turn around CCP is fucking up something that works fine to 'improve' it.
