Re: Collapse ??!

But wait, what if the realization of those dreams becomes a Pandora’s Box and we get a negative outcome from the fiction? Should a writer like Rand self-censor and avoid ideas that may have a negative impact on the world? What if comet falls on planet and we all may be extinct like dinosaurs, or nu...

Re: Blow it out your ass Lenin

Punks, anarchists, romantics, whatever... Do you expect some logic from these people. What it's surely not, is desperation. I had my experience in participating in similar kinds of performances (except police encounters, those were pretty peacefull). You can't apply a single man's thinking to it. It...

Hit the jaw, then head is not hard))
About microfractions of the bones to increase density i'm not sure. This works for muscles definitely. What i do for hands is basically pushups on the fists from some hard surface. 3 monthes of this, and you have enough density. Hits actually do more damage imo.

Re: Blow it out your ass Lenin

This was a bunch of crazy radicals who actually dream of creating an independent state within russian territory, which is inhabitet by genetically pure russians or smth like this  This is already a second Lenin on their account. May be i should advice a mausoleum to them as a next step))

Re: I'm qualified for ownership of a vegetable pushcart

Remodeling bones sounds a bit zealous for me... Why would you want to hit hard surfaces anyways? Humans are soft  Unless you are fighting a medieval knight)) But then grappling comes.

Re: Greetings

Kushan, I learned about Objectivism as a philosophy only after seeing TTI advertisement. And read Rand like 4 month later after joining. I'm here for more then year now, and corp fits perfectly to me. It doesn't really matters if you recognize yourself as Objectivist. Overview of philosophy on the h...

Re: Tim Bardon (Precog Lemuers) Intro

Wrong theories don't make science wrong. Can effect be observed? Yes. Can it be explained to not break causality? Not yet. Does it make Quantum Mechanics wrong? No. Call it "under construction" if you wish. To say now that it's completely wrong and stop exploring it further will leave it a...

Re: Tim Bardon (Precog Lemuers) Intro

I mean knowledge, that can be applied to the achieve smth (build, create, change things). Taking idea from greeks and developing it doesn't make Copernicus less important in history of science. And i still want to understand why you don't like quants. Edit: saw your post in deep thoughts. Will look ...

Re: Tim Bardon (Precog Lemuers) Intro

Copernicus first had a theory that the Earth is turning round the Sun. At that time theory of sky spheres, or however it was called, was enough for practical needs. I have just basic knowledge for quantum physics/mechanics, so links u mentioned would be interesting to read. But i struggle to call sm...

Re: Tim Bardon (Precog Lemuers) Intro

Most of current sciences were first born as theorys, not having practical application.
Why are you so sceptic about quantum mechanics Olek?

Hi Case. Welcome to TTI forums.
Hope it was not just "bubble of untruth" that made you happy. But if your introspection was complete, you know those things:)
Good luck in your application process.

First of all, good luck in application Knapik and Marius. Second, just couldn't pass through BBQ thread :D Here the BBQ is not popular at all. Instead we make pieces of meat (preferrably pork) cooked on metal sticks over the heated coals after the campfire. It's called "shashlik". Main dis...

Now i get more of the picture. So my thoughts on some of the questions. 1. Government as an executioner of punishment. I think population increase is not the cause. It just increases competition between individuals for resources, but on other hand makes the market wider. It's all about education of people. And the ONLY thing that i see absolute in education is that person should be teached to always think HIMSELF. I...

doctors, that don't care,
long queues of losers, that wish to be excused from work more then to be healed.
Those are just few beauties of socialized medicine. Tried this out on my own hide before getting a decent insurance.
