"New" website?

TTI is known for its intellectuals. This is a place for thinkers to gather and exchange quotes, thoughts, or other topics that might not appeal to the average gamer.

"New" website?

Post by dough »

I recall Taggart having a different look a few years ago, during the EVE: Online beta; I found the old design on archive.org, and so my question is: Why the change in design?

Apparently we didnt think to check there, and I cant find it there now, otherwise we wouldve probably kept the old design if it wasnt deleted. This is still nice though.

and to answer doughs question, someone who shall remain nameless deleted it all by mistake one night when he was drunk.

That is but one page out of many. Our old site was mainly destroyed and a few files were all that was left. It was time for a make over anyway, and I really like the new look.

roflmao. Well, ok, these things happen.

To piggyback another question onto [granted my own] thread: Who designs the cool business card sigs? They look awesome.

Amen dough. TTi's business card signatures have always looked very sleek and professional. I've wondered the same thing too.

The original TTI website theme was by Kell Braxis.
No idea what he is up to now.
I have not seen him on the Gulch forums either but there is probably someone there who knows what he is doing.

The original TTI site and business card template .psd was by Ragnar.

I am the said alcoholic.

That is all that will be said on that topic.

However, just as a little FYI, the new TTI site is incompatible w/ IE for Mac or the latest version of Safari. I have not yet tried it w/ Firefox (Mozilla). <div> tags are apparently way too complex for Apple's liking. We could all go back to the good old days of <table>, I guess.
