The matrix beta

Post by lostchylde »

hello,

I've had the good furtune, or maybe the word is mis furtune to get into the matrix beta.
Im not a long winded writer so i wont go into every gory detail but so far I am NOT VERY HAPPY with it. i think the release will be very buggy, as most new releases are.
The one thing that bugs me the most is that it is a level grind kinda game. kill x amount of whatever, get a small increase of EXP.
There does not seem to be a lot to do except missions for faction. there are a few random spawns to kill but mostly they kill u. im sure that will change as a person grows in levels and the game gets more balanced.
ive been waiting for this game to come out as i wanted to do something other then eve every nite. dont get me wrong, i have no desire to leave eve, id just like to dabble in something different.
i think i would give this game a year, see if it survives, let them work out the problems before i invest any time in it.

LC, Everyone has those MMPOG blues, I promise if you come down and do a few PvP ops with the Nomads you will be right as rain, shiva has been delayed so PLEASE come down with us, your too cool to let sit in empire rotting away.

Everyone has to have a nemesis, I consider it an honor to be hated so much my name is spoken as a curse. Even then, I am undefeatable because conviction is my greatest weapon. When it comes to war one mans most hated enemy is another’s brother.

Thats the big thing I like about EVE. A couple of days skill training and you can try your hand at almost anything. Your not going to be the best at it, but your not guaranteed to die either. Of course the almighty God of EVE is Isk not XP!
