Hey ya (not an outcast)

Hey ya (not an outcast)

Boo!

Hey guys and gals hope all is going well... As you all know since I handed things off a few months ago I have purposefully tried to stay away, so as to not interfere with however the new team wanted to run things... nothing worse than ex-Presidents that won't shut up (*ahem* Clinton *cough*).

I've also been quite busy with real life stuff... I own a game company and some other companies and that has kept me cycles fully burned.

So a few things:

1) I wanted to say hello to old friends and acquaintences I never got to know well enough to call friends... but I have a feeling that will change over the long haul here.

2) I'm not playing Eve anymore, although I still maintain 2 accounts... both are good till June... I keep tabs on everything and the latest patch looks good and I hope you all are having fun with it.

3) I still play a lot of games... but more of a part-timer. I will probably try out Horizons and I hope to play with some of you... which leads me to #4

4) The Taggart guys and gals are greatness... we attract truly fun, smart, and mature people... so I have been asking for quite a while for a meta-Taggart site (maybe just forums) where we can all hang and do different games and whatnot together. Anyone working on this?

Also I got a new watch... same watch that they gave to KGB agents. It's very cool... I think in order to keep it working I have to kill one capitalist every 24 hours. So Taggart is a good place for victims.

Hiya Ragnar!

Good to hear from you. I wonder from time to time how your new game is coming along. Any updates for us?

This new Castor patch is great. The NPC pirates are very hard and everyone is busy running agent missions to get tech 2 stuff. So, PvP has died down substantially. Many of the other changes have really made this a better game IMHO. We had a NPC hunting expedition the other day and had a hoot. I have a feeling that over this christmas break many NPC's are going to have a rough time!

As far as the Meta site goes... I had forgotten all about it to be honest with you. Until someone decides to set up something formal... we can host a Meta-forum here on this board. I'll get that set up over the next few days.

Again, Its good to hear from you again. If you ever need anything let me know.

Regards,

Hello Ragnar and GunnyP! :D

I would be interested in working with former Taggart Transdimensional associates in other games as well. When you do pick up Horizons, Ragnar, look me up on the "Life" server. The character name is still Shadowmehr, and I work out of New Brommel but have goods on consignment at most every town.

Respectfully,

Hey Ragnar, good to see you again.

I second Gunny, would be nice if you could tell us when any info is available on your game :)

Q-labs is still around, albeit not in TTI though. Our website is at http://www.eve-qlabs.com

Give me some sugar, I am your neighbour!!!

'ey up Ragnar. Good to see that your still keeping up to date.

Hope your game is going well fella also. Let me know if you need a beta testor (necro@necro.plus.com). As for playing another game with you guys - we as u all know i am at university for this year. And i am just able to maintain the funding for my eve online account through my hardship grant :P.

Anyways i'll keep in touch with you lot on these forums. Hopefully by next september or indeed late summer i'll be in a position to start gamming full time again.

I'm currently in Omega Corp fighting Evolution (STILL!!) down in stain. Only on weekends and holidays though, as thats when i got an internet connection.

Anyways been great hearing from you, god speed and merry christmas :)

Shake it like a polariod picture!

:P

Nice to see ya again Rag! You should pop in more often. :D I hope the game company and your other endeavors go well.

By the way, what other games are you playing? I wouldn't mind joining up with you in some other games.
Also I got a new watch... same watch that they gave to KGB agents. It's very cool... I think in order to keep it working I have to kill one capitalist every 24 hours. So Taggart is a good place for victims.
I'll pay you to kill him first.
*Wesley points at Fantomas.* (You should see the harsh things he does. )

But, I left TTI and joined the Biomass Cartel, former M3G4. So, I'm not in TTI anymore. But the need for PvP was just too great and it's quite a bit of fun.

I've been looking at Pirates of the Burning Sea. Supposedly, Beta testing should be coming soon. It's like EVE, but...uhh....on the sea. :) Either that or I'll wait for World of Warcraft. I got accepted to beta test Horizons, but I didn't like it too much...or maybe I like EVE too much. :?

Anyhow, good to see you again, and don't be a stranger.

Hey all - good to see you all too of course...

I started a character on the Dawn server of Horizons - Tolstoy is there too... Campion and some other buds are going to join it too soon I think. Besides that, just been playing some console games and will likely be getting into some XBox live stuff after festivus.

Can't talk much about the game we are working on sadly, but I still want to create that TTI meta-community so that I can keep in touch with everyone... I will need a core group of insiders that I like for some of the key testing and community building. As opposed to other games, we are likely not to announce it or what it's greatness is about until about a year from production... but it is completely unlike anything out there...although medieval in nature.

Anyway, I will of course be watching this forum quite a bit until we get a more general non-EVE tti one a'goin!

Hey guys!!

I'm also playing Horizons but on the Expanse server. Im in the mistwalkers guild with Derek and Tynan Black (hes sablehawk the leader).

Everythings going great. I'm leaving Eve at the end of this month (2 days left) and can't say I wont miss it. But I'm having fun in Horizons, only fight when I want to, and am busy cornering the market in a couple goods and making some $$$$$. Thats what its all about!

Good to hear from you again Trey. Hope you and the wife/kid are doing well.

I think Rag doesn't like me cause he's showing up again right before I leave for basic training on Sunday!

Glad to hear Project X is moving along. Soo cool once it comes out. I can't wait to test it.

I'm organizing my oldschool mod team from Q3 for another run of greatness at HL2 which I hope will be released sometime before the Fall 04 (the game not the mod, hehe) . In the mean time I've replayed Deus Ex and Uplink for inspiration and tried some new games like Medal of Honor (and expansion), Black Hawk Down and Railroad Tycoon 3. A friend of mine gave me a Gamecube for Xmas so I'm looking forward to playing a couple of sweet games on that like Soul Calibur 2, Disgea (the FFT sorta game) and Eternal Darkness all the way through (which I've only seen bits and pieces of on other peoples systems). I've finally been converted over to the console fold after a lot of "consoles suck!" commentary on my part. I look forward to finally playing FFX all the way through on a PS2 I intend on purchasing this summer.

I dunno if I'll ever be able to do a standard MMORPG ever again after EVE, tho. Something like WoW appeals to me mostly due to its cooperative style play, but anything MMO I'm gonna stay away from for quite a while.

I'm looking forward to coming back to some sort of meta-TTI forum if I don't create it before I go. Rag would you prefer it created within this forum or a new forum database all together?

Later,

Adam

Yeah I have Uplink too... bought it an age ago when it had a good underground review. Thought it was great for a few days until I couldnt quite work out how they kept tracing me even after I was bouncing my uplink over 30+ locations... kinda gave up then and bought good old Earth and Beyond, which got me on the road to EVE.

:D

Not sure you Biomass Freak!

Actually Beta should be out soon, in the 1st months of next year. Expect website changes soon at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com
Also, read this lengthy report on the game by a fan, he had a chance at playing the alpha.

http://www.battle.net/forums/wow/thread ... post854379

Once i read this i really went gaga for the game engine and some of the gameplay issues that Blizzard folk have been tackling lately. Hope you enjoy.

Dang Calladen and others - I wish we had that TTI meta forum up earlier -then we would all be on the same dang server! Uggo... that sucks... well if you want to start another char on Dawn - there is me, Francisco, Tolstoy, Campion and a few other guys there as well... seems to have a good and fun group of guys.

I understand that new races can be unlocked - maybe if our server unlocks races first you guys can start a new char over there eh?

Hey Rag,

I just made a char on the Dawn server. His name is 'Wesley'. I'm so original. :D I was looking to hook up with you guys, unless you don't want me too.

Anywho, I'm still a noob at this so I'm trying to get the feel for things. If someone could give me a hand it would be much appreciated. :)

Is there any other form of communication you all use?

Well, anyways, talk to you later,

Wesley
