Introduction and Notice of Application

TTI is known for its intellectuals. This is a place for thinkers to gather and exchange quotes, thoughts, or other topics that might not appeal to the average gamer.

Introduction and Notice of Application

Post by Divinus Arma »

Good Day,

I have recently applied to the organization via email at taggartnow@hotmail.com. Seeing the other applications and introductions within this forum, I felt it would only be appropriate if I followed suit.

I recently discovered the EVE universe, and quite unintentionally. It was a discovery I will not soon regret, as the depth and complexity are what I have always sought in gaming entertainment.

I also recently discovered the Taggart Trandimensional Corporation by accident. I was stumbling through the internet quenching my thirst for knowledge of the EVE environment and randomly selected this corporation from a list of hundreds. This too was a discovery I will not soon regret.

The structure, vision, and unity within this organization are exactly what I was seeking. The brief contact I have had with other corporations (I was inducted almost immediately by a corporation who allies them with something called the "Stain", merely by real-world professional association), have shown them to be unorganized, ineffectual, and of little consequence. I have a belief that nearly anything can be accomplished with vision, will, and ability. All are of equal importance: Genius uninspired is the equal of inspired idiocy.

Thus, in Taggart I see the vision, will, and ability to rule an empire of capitalism. I see Taggart Transdimensional as the leader among corporations; an example of persistent excellence for all others to strive and attempt to equal.

(And of course it will be fun)

I hope I am accurate in my assesment.

About myself: I have served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps for some time, and with pleasure. In addition to my full time active service, I am also enrolled in Business School full time and expect to graduate with highest honors at the end of this year. I currently hold an AA in Business Administration with Honors. Much to my wife's chagrin, I am also a gaming addict, preferring games with political, economic, and military depth.

I looking forward to working (and playing) at your side.

Very Respectfully,

Divinus Arma

Greetings Divinus and thanks for your interest in TTI.

I hope that TTI will live upto everything you hope it is... it definitely has for me. TTI has an interesting blend of capitalistics and fighters probably not common within EVE. One of our members recently has financed their own POS in 0.0 space while our CEO is an ex-CA War General.

I look forward to reviewing your application.

Welcome aboard, Divinus. I'm sure you'll find TTI to be the home you seek. Expect Dagny "omg money" taggart to send you a questionnaire shortly.

Welcome to the forums Divinus, and best of luck on your application. I hope you enjoy the application questions as much as I did.

Eve sounds like a perfect fit for your gaming desires – total conquest: economic and militaristic. We do have fun here at TTI. Have you by chance read any of the Ayn Rand books?

I am huge fan of the TW series. RTW was a blast. I played that non-stop for months until recently. I'm replacing my RTW addiction with an EVE addiction.

See you out there soon,
