Dear Hiring Executive,
I am exploring employment opportunities within your corporation. I am seeking a permanent position where i may better utilize my passion for industrial activities and the ambition of being a health member of a strong alliance.
My strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as my ability to be a strong team player would also provide valuable. Being extremely honest and patient, i think i will be ideal for possible leadership posts if the opportunity arise in the near future.
I would like to discuss mutual business interests, and will contact you as soon as possible to set a convenient time for us to meet. Thank you for your time and consideration
Sincerely,
Aja wu
[OOC greeting incoming]
Hello everyone
My name is Konstantinos Brouzioutis and i am a 21 year old male living in Greece, Thessaloniki.
I am studding Tourism Industry at the Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki out of which i will graduate in about 3 years time.
About Eve online, i have been playing it for almost a year, having a single account, i was only farming level 4 missions while still being in the NPC noob corp. Needless to say i got bored of it, so I sold my character about a week ago and with the ISKs i bought a 16.8 million SP miner ( Aja wu ) and a 7 million SP hauler/salvager ( Primary Targett ).
I have been seeking for a mining corporation since then, talked with a couple of COE's and then my friend Kirkland ( Yzzergirl ingame ) told me about ISS, so i though i give em a try first and then look for something else.
Browsing the ISS alliance roster on eve database Taggart Teansdimensional really got my attention, with the 0% taxes ( taxes can't be good, even a noob knows that ) and the really nice Sigfile key you use. Also you look way more organised than any other corporation i looked up.
I would appreciate some help with the application, as i have never applied in a corp. Also, in case i am accepted for trial, don't get angry with my noobcake questions xD
Looking forward for some feedback / help from the hiring executive.
Relay really thanks
yours,
Konstantinos Brouzioutis
Greetings.
Help with applying is on its way in EvE channels.

You know most of the members of TTI are not miners. If you wanted to be a member, I hope it was not just to mine with us.
If you do decide to reactivate your application, there are also some pointers that some of us can provide that might reduce your risks. Two exhumers is a major hit, and in the same day! Wow that is a major bummer, sorry for your loss.
My guess is that you were cutting in low sec (0.1 to 0.4)? This is the riskiest area of space to operate in (I avoid it). For a high-end mining barge it is best to stay in high sec. In no sec I prefer a standard barge, as occasionally a rat will loose agro, and in a few short seconds they can pop a barge. I’ve been popped in just the time it takes to accelerate to warp. For me the risk to reward ratio is just not worth it.

he is very lucky the price of exhumers have come way down since invention. You can now get a hulk for 250m or less in some areas. When I first came, hulk was 550m+! I certainly AGREE 2 of those in one day is a mega bad loss.musashi wrote:You know most of the members of TTI are not miners. If you wanted to be a member, I hope it was not just to mine with us.

I would not do an exhumer in lowsec or no sec unless extensive fleet security is available so again the same thing with what musashi said the more expensive stuff stays in empire (this is also my contributing factor when I do cargo runs, I look at what lowsec I have to go through and the statistics for the day and if they are decent I'll take the risk).
I know of at least 1 or 2 .4 systems I feel safe getting through with expensive cargo but I don't do it on a regular basis for someone to figure out they can just sit there waiting for me one day.
First of all, i really appreciate everybody's support.
Also, sorry for the delayed answer, but i was on short vacations with my girlfriend.
About the ganking, yes, they occurred in low-sec space (0.4 mostly). I know it isn't the smartest idea to go down there solo, as well that is is more dangerous than being solo on 0.0, but i really wanted to check out my new miner.
The first hulk was unfitted (despite the strip miners and the mining upgrades) so it costed me about 250. I was mining Veldspar (veldspar in low sec? don't ask)
when a cruiser intercepted me, reached me to armour, and then ransomed me for 30 million ISK. The moment i payed, another cruiser warped, he warp-scrambles me aswell and ransomed me when i reach structure for another 30 million. Needless to say they were in the same corporation, so its a safe bet they were in gank. After paying the 2nd guy's ransom, the first cruiser blow me up. No hard feelings, there are retards on eve.
Back to jita, new hulk, strip miners, mining upgrades, gisti-a type small shield booster x2, Hardeners x2. i also "mount" up 6 light and 2 medium drones. Back in low sec, mining Kernite this time, i notice a new guy comes into local channel. A pilot with -9.8 sec status, but he is only 34 days old, and still in the NPC noob corporation. "Let him come" i say to myself "my drones will tear him appart".
Of course he warps to my belt, warp-scrable me, and start hitting me with while my drones chew his shield/armour. I didn't even went out of capacitor when i reached structure, while he was on 30% armor, so i withdraw my drones and pay the ransom. On my way back to jita i hit a gate camp, got podded, and woke up in my clone.
To be honest the really embarrassing stuff is that a 32 day old character cut my 500 million isk hulk like it was made of butter. I really don't know if those +600k skill points new characters start with are so important, but when i started playing it wasn't even a dream to gank a hulk.
The feeling that i was unable to fight back almost gave me a heart attack.
In short: I am a disgrace to mining, nuff said.
Anyway, i sold the Aja wu ( i even made a profit despite the hulks ) and i bought a 31 million pve/pvp character with no capital ship skills at all. He really needs some love ( lacking learning skills and the stuff ) but i think i will make it.
Of course, if the hiring executive accepts it, i would be more than honored to reactivate my application, just let me know if you want me to create a new account, or a moderator can change the name.
Once more, i am grateful for your support over my last experiences.
Yours,
