YAIT

Post by Koros Spann »

EVE character: Koros Spann
TTI Division (or major occupation if unsure): Mulligan
Your age (approximate) : 24
Timezone in the world: Eastern
1) What are your unique characteristics that set you apart from most people? (your views, achievements, etc):
Cheers, I'm a student in Econ and Journalism from Montreal. Maybe a bit of a free marketeer in the Cato Institute/IHS variety.
2) Why are you playing EVE?
I was recommended the game in 2004 by an "anarchist" (communitarian) friend. I didn't think much of it until January when I stumbled across the game reading an article about cally's bank scam and subsequent confession. The article mentioned that CCP refused to do anything about because of the risk of creating a moral hazard that would represent a future risk to the game's economy, basically causing a credit bubble among PC lenders. I had to play this game.
3) Why are you applying to Taggart?
I've seen the phrase "shared values" used before. I started playing Eve because of a sense of shared values between the game and myself, and I'm applying because I think I've found a group of players who conceptualize an Eve corporation the way I do--as an entity designed soley to continually increase the individual profits of its shareholders.

Ex-CEO of Taggart Transdimensional

"Objectivism is not only true, it is great! Why? Because of the volitional work a mind must have performed to reach for the first time so exalted a level of truth—and because of all the glorious effects such knowledge will have on man’s life, all the possibilities of action it opens up for the future." -- Leonard Peikoff
