OMG, just fast-forward to the last 10 seconds for the best part, if you can't take the first half.

Personally, I found the entire thing hilarious. I left a message, "rofl, more burning trees! More humor!"

Well, to them, a rock is like jesus. Unfortunately they can't live up to their ideal.

The landscape architect that I work with is a teacher at CalPoly Pomona. They are big into "regenerative studies" in landscape, which is basically an outgrowth of the environmentalist movement. He has been fighting against it for years, trying to stress the importance of design. I showed him that video and told him to show his classes and ask "do you really want to align yourselves with these people?" He laughed uneasily and said "That might get me into trouble".

They don't want forests cut down. They don't want efficient large scale farming. No, no, they want small scale organic farming that will require more land to grow the same amount of food. Hmm, won't that mean we will have to cut down more trees for farmland? Oh wait, that right, logic and reason are just a tool of the patriarchy. Just ignore the obvious contradiction and have faith in the ancient wisdom.

I'm a redhead with the uber-pale skin to boot, if anyone should be "mourning" the loss of trees or shade it should be me, or the albinos. This is such an obvious appeal to emotion and a sad exploit/attention whoring.

It is incredulous how deluded people allow themselves to become. I just want to yell, "IT'S A FUCKING TREE!!!!!!!!!" Go buy a plant! Get a dog or a real life. Go find some true atrocity to cry about, like the loss of freedoms, corrupt governments or dead puppies.

I can tell you one thing for sure, I do not want to be within 100 yards of one of these people when their Obama chia pet dies. That's all I'm sayin'.

That crazy lady in the last few seconds looks EXACTLY like my exwife...and what was that woman in the pink headband doing there? I think the early 1970s is missing a spokeswoman.

Wow.....just.....thank you. Thank you for dropping my faith in humanity another notch. At this point, I'm strongly inclined to agree with the Trees.
