New eve email system
Re: New eve email system
Not sure why you posted this here O_o
Anyway, it'll make my eve-job easier. Handling applicants with the current mail system is a massive pain.

I have even discovered a way to make read messages disappear without being deleted:
Right click on the message and remove the "Inbox" label. Presto....

Now that's a useful tip, I was wondering how to go about doing that.[M-T3C] Oxigun wrote:I have even discovered a way to make read messages disappear without being deleted:

They don't actually disappear- they are just moved out of your inbox and then into "all mail" or "unassigned" (can't remember exactly) from my experience. You can highlight (mac is command then click on all the ones you want delted) and move all to the trashcan so you don't have to do it one at a time.[M-T3C] Oxigun wrote:I have even discovered a way to make read messages disappear without being deleted:

**edit**
you can also create folders and assign people to it i.e. folder name: "people I hate" and anytime they send you a message it will go there instead of your inbox- your "notification" window in evemail will blink and it will tell you where the new message is located (you can also read it from that window as well.) It also takes a lot of work but as far as "alliance" mail goes you have to add everyone individually into a group to send mass alliance evemail- I would recommend just sending it to one or two heads of each alliance and they can pass any msg along to their respective corp members.
