Hello, fellow creators of the world. I've recently returned from a two-year break from short stint of EvE, and I am looking for some exciting opportunities with a good corporation. I found Taggart, and I found myself excited. Wormhole ops, intelligent philosophy, and a selective application process -- I wouldn't have made my own corporation any different.
Too few corporations care about their ethics. It makes them weak, incoherent. New players slave away for the corporate elders because they are told to do so. Nobody in EvE has any backbone anymore. No ambition. Players just play EvE like it's WoW - grind, PvP, repeat. So few take the advantage of the free markets and liberated nature of EvE.
I intend to explore. I want to scan down my enemy and destroy him when he runs like a coward. I want to find new resources to lay claim to as my own. I want to get there first.
On a less dramatic note, I'm a pretty relaxed person. I am direct, clear, and decisive, but not argumentative nor humorless. I did well in the few fleet ops I've participated in, but I am still fairly new to EvE. I have no experience with wormholes, and I am still largely untrained in cruisers. I want to be better with frigates before picking up and moving to the next class of ship.
A little bit of personal background: I'm an International Relations/pre-law student, American. I can speak German, Spanish, and I'm beginning to learn Japanese. I practice Judo and have studied Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Jeet Kune Do (the most objectivist martial art, haha). I enjoy music, cinema, and a whole slew of geeky hobbies (WH40k primary among them). I am a militant atheist.
I look forward to navigating EvE with you all. I have no doubt that we'll get along smashingly.
