I've been playing Eve on and off since 2003. I am probably the ultimate Eve carebear, since in all that time I haven't killed a single other player, and been into 0.0 space exactly once.I've never joined a corporation before,largely due to a lack of time to spend in game. I played uber casually, missioning and trading whilst I committed myself to the drudgery of work and family life.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with ALS.
This is a bit of a curate's egg for me. On the down side I have a life expectancy of a few years post diagnosis, though I intend to live a lot longer. What is certain though is that I will become gradually paralysed and lose the ability to eat, speak and eventually to breathe.
On the plus side there are computers. Through my computer I can communicate, write, read and entertain myself. Since my favorite entertainment is computer games, and I now have time to devote to Eve,it's time to join a corp, and TTI was always going to be my first choice.
