My name is Danny (Karel Doorman in-game),
I am 28 years old, and I am an officer in the navy. Hobbies are playing guitar, squash (racketball), gaming (PC and card/board games) and reading. Gaming wise I have played such titles as, Warcraft II, Starcraft, most of the TTW series, Hearts of Iron 2 and 3, WoW, World of Tanks, Knights and Merchants. Mostly RTS and a MMORPG.
I am coming back from a solid two years of not playing EVE. Don't be fooled though, I only played for about 4 months, managed to get into the EVE-Uni for a few weeks and then quit. So much of the knowledge has by now been lost.
I have started to play EVE again, as I want to be challenged. Which most modern games don't because they rather cater to the masses. Joining a Corp is a must in my view and TTI looks solid. I mostly agree with TTI's views and philosophies and I don't think fitting in will be any problems in that regard. I especially like the laissez-faire approach, since nothing can put a huge damper on your fun than a heavily constricting Clan/Guild/Corp can.
My aim within EVE is diving into exploring for now. I have nothing set for the long term, because I have seen only a little of the possibilities in the game and I am still orientating.
I don't know what else blabber on about, so I'll save that for the interviews.
See you around,
Danny/Karel.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forums, and welcome back to EVE.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
