How do you pronounce Ayn Rand?

Post by vf142rex »

I was involved in an interesting philisophical discussion the other day, when someone mentioned that his favorite philosopher was "Ah-yin" (one syllable) Rand. Now, I was under the impression that it was pronounced 'Anne'. Have I been wrong? Also, what philosophy did she give birth to? I could have sworn it was objectivism.

It's not "Anne", it's "Ah-yin".

If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway - it might move later.
