Hello from James Wagner

Post by James Wagner »

Greetings TTI'ers. I am a long time reader and deep thinker on the Objectivist philosophy - introduced to Ayn Rand's books early in high school and have been reading and rereading them until now. I'm married, 25 years old, and the future owner of our family's small business. I love capitalism dearly and espouse its virtue and mock its miscarriages by our world's governments.

I've had the brief privaledge of speaking with your current CEO Petyr and have read through some of your forums. I have been reminded of the long discussions - literally weekend long - in our senior year of highschool and missing them excessively as I went on to college.

I found Eve about a year ago and have grown to love playing the markets and missioning on my character, James Wagner, and my alt Warren Icahn - both 16m sp pilots. About a week ago I started my own corp, not knowing about this one, called 'We the Living' - a direct reference to Ayn Rand's book by the same name. It was created with the intention of becoming basically exactly what it appears you all have been part of since this game started. I was fortunate enough to read an advert in the recruitment channel while recruiting for my own corporation and realized my dream corp already existed.

All this to say, I would very much like to join this fine corporation, kick some tree huggers, promote capitalism, make some isk, and generally have a good time. I will be submitting my application very shortly and look forward to hearing from you all.

I leave you with this final quote and a vat of acid to bathe yourself in after reading and (hopefully) agreeing with:
"All our knowledge begins with the senses, proceeds then to the understanding, and ends with reason. There is nothing higher than reason." -Immanuel Kant - If only he had left it at that...
Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong.
-Ayn Rand

Greetings, James.

I like your app. It's obvious you're a closet pinko, but you hide it well. I expect we'll see you in corp soon... ;)
