Hello all

Post by Doc »

I have spent the last several days planning the counterattack against those that would like to see the demise of my medical practice and business through government regulation and wealth redistribution. I find myself realizing the real value TTI may hold for me: maintaining my optimistic outlook for the future. Objectivism in health care is the only right way. ....not lookin' so good right now.
Thanks for considering my application.

Heya, indeed. Welcome to the forums.

"Objectivism is not only true, it is great! Why? Because of the volitional work a mind must have performed to reach for the first time so exalted a level of truth—and because of all the glorious effects such knowledge will have on man’s life, all the possibilities of action it opens up for the future." -- Leonard Peikoff

Talk about counter attack.... How about AT&T's write down of $1B in this year's financials to cover their anticipated additional costs under the new law?

That is a shot across the bow for every employer. It seems among other things the new law wil definitely have a depressing impact on job creation.
Keep your sharpened steel sword, this wooden one will be all I need!

Our initial response was to lay off employees. We have now decided the most appropriate response is to transfer our costs to the consumers of our service, our patients. Services which were once considered a courtesy to our patients, such as paperwork and phone calls will now be services we charge directly to those patients that utilize these service. So, one may predict job losses, decreased physician accessibility and inflated up front costs to patients. I know I will not provide any service beyond what I find to be fair reimbursement. We will continue to transfer these costs and continue lay offs until that threshold is reached at which time we will have to quit and our 10,000 patients will have to find new doctors (if they can).
