Re: Ban Profit's! (Oops.. forgot the Link!)

A bit unfair since he'd lead them to the answers he was looking for, and very much similar of going to a tea party gathering and asking people if they'd support a militia taking over Washington DC.

Our forum greeters seem to be missing in action. So, I'll take this one.

I don't normally do this, but welcome to the forums.

I did enjoy reading your introduction, it was clear and concise making it easy to read. Thank you very much for breaking it up into paragraphs that covered each particular point.

Re: Ayn Rand would be proud... (I think)

I didn't get multiculturalism or socialism from it. It sounded more like "Why dislike or avoid these groups of people when you could profit from them, while they in turn could profit too." or how I see it. Don't make fun of their turbans. Make designer turbans and sell it to them. You'll m...

Re: My Complaint Letter to My College

Well, going by the statement, I'm the perfect person. I have 2 jobs and go to college! That means there's no evil thoughts in me at all, like wanting to slash the tires of the person who cut me off this morning.

Looks like the letter worked. Cause your library link does not have any quotes on the main page for me.

EDIT: Whoops...looks like my browser was blocking the javascript on the page. Quote is still there.

Re: Religion in the USA

The best we can do as humans is to reason as much as possible, through inducing the facts, deducing conclusions, but never adding evidence! Finding that the stars are aligned in some way does not mean that God exists, or even act as evidence of that, it merely means they are aligned for some reason...

Re: why is ccp's entire website messed up?...

It's always been in the event of a BIG patch/update, CCP will take the website down. And all we see is that "Our blah blah bubble burst blah blah blah" page. I've concluded that this is due primarily to that fact that the server and the game are run of the same server cluster. And the disa...

I highly suggest reading up on Objectivism from its sources, such as http://aynrand.org and her fiction and non-fiction works. Meanwhile, you can quickly look up her stance on various issues and definition here: http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/charity.html http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/percep...

You approach two talking doors. One door leads to the City of Truth, while the other door leads to the City of Liars. You do not know which door is which. You are able to ask only one question to determine which door is which. The door that leads to the City of Liars always speaks lies, while the d...

So...since God resides in the unknown...Does that mean dark matter and dark energy God since scientists have little idea as to what that is? Absolutely! According to every religion I’ve read about, wherever you can’t see…. That’s where God is. Or is that cockroaches? I keep forgetting. Finally! You...

This is a wrong question. It's just as wrong to ask why universe exists or have you stopped beating your wife.

Gravity is a matter of reality, there is no why.
I probably should have used the question "Why is there gravity?"

I'm having trouble understanding how a Religion based on reason can exist. Isn't that just a type of philosphy at that point? For me, my basic differentiation between what is religion and reason is this: Why does gravity exist? Religion: Because "God" made it. Reason: Gravity is a natural ...

... you threw the book. I can't believe you threw the book. I was only joking... but no you went and threw the book. I have my own views. Some might make Tolthar happy, some might now. So to save him from having his head explode (or implode) I'll just keep reading and making fun of him in the game.
